I waited 3 weeks to see the doctor with a somewhat urgent need. The front office called me 18 hours prior to cancel my appointment. They tried to reschedule me for 2 months later knowing I needed to see someone. When I asked why they canceled my appointment she said because they needed to clear the schedule that day and my appointment would take longer because I was a new patient. Would not advise anyone to go here.
Moved up to the area just over a year ago and chose Dr. Monks as my Gynecologist after reading a lot of great reviews. She was very kind, but I went in there with two different lady issues hoping that she could help, she did not run any tests on me and dismissed me as if there was nothing wrong. Three months later I mentioned my concerns again to my primary Dr. who discovered that I had a bacterial infection that is is easily diagnosable after a simple test.
Dr. Monks is the sweetest doctor around! She's smart, compassionate, considerate, and truly a wonderful person. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
