I’ve been attending Cairns GP for over a year with no issues. The front desk team are friendly, and genuinely caring. So grateful for a bulk-billing clinic that actually supports its patients. Dr Lukas Mar is an incredibly compassionate doctor and truly the best. Highly recommend Cairns GP.
Receptionist was SO rude and unhelpful. Then got into the doctor clinic and he recommended my baby have antibiotics for an infection in her chest, I asked him what are the side effects of them he said there are no side effects unless she’s allergic and she can get a rash. Well lo and behold there are multiple side effects to this antibiotic which she has been suffering and experiencing plus the dosage he recommended is higher than normal which can be dangerous. I am not impressed with this clinic at all.
Dr Lukas Mar is brilliant. He is so switched on and incredibly helpful with genuine commitment to patient outcomes and healthcare experience. You would never find a GP so skilled and professional that bulk bills anywhere else. He even has done my Implanon removal and replacement and diagnostic testing for POTS which was not even offered by Cardiac Specialists. Very grateful for Cairns GP Medical Centre for bringing affordable quality healthcare to the community.
