Excellent service by all staff, thorough diagnostic screening and explanation by Dr Andrew Field left me feeling totally confident that I was in the right place to manage my eye health
!! Do yourself a favour and read this !! Cairns Eye Surgery are not only dirty money makers, but also extremely poor surgeons. Not only was I waiting hours in the wait rooms despite showing up early, but they also kept delaying appointments, forcing extra appointments which cost far too much only to ‘discuss’ the initial, pre-pre, pre and the post process. Kind, professional and intergrated expert care .. sums up the treatment I have been received for years during my care of glaucoma. Dr Todd has supported me through tiered levels of care and treatments .. It will happen to you at some stage in life, cataracts suddenly appear and must be addressed if you wish to maintain any vision. If this is the case I would totally recommend Dr Brian Todd from Cairns Eye Surgery. Dr Brian is a very skilled physician and has a wonderful team who are caring, capable and knowledgeable. Dr Brian is a true professional and has many years of experience and keeps up with the latest developments. I had a 2:30 pm appointment but wasn’t seen by the doctor until 4:15 pm—and the consultation lasted less than 10 minutes. This kind of delay is unacceptable and felt more like waiting at a public hospital than a private clinic. The staff who conducted the initial eye exam and X-ray were friendly and polite, which I appreciated.
