Being an interstate traveller with car troubles, you tend to be pretty cautious about who you call. These guys exceeded every expectation. I am very happy with the service I received from Cairns Diesel Service. I was having non stop fault codes and downtime because of DPF and SCR (Ad Blue) issues with my (FNH) Ford New Holland telehandler…..And to make it worst the machine is up in Thursday Island which is extremely expensive if you need to get the dealer up here. I contacted Travis from CDS and he guided me through how to remove the engine ECM and send it down to him. He worked his magic and sent the ECM back up. Travis at Cairns Diesel Service did an excellent job on my 2020 Kobelco ED160 Blade Runner excavator. He sorted out the AdBlue system, DPF and EGR issues professionally and efficiently, and the machine is running really well again now. I recently had CDS replace the injectors in my 2007 79 Landcruiser. Yes, an expensive exercise, but fortunately I was kept aware of a massive amount of carbon build up throughout the engine and intake valves etc. This issue I had paid another auto service in Smithfield to do with their new flush system at a cost of $900 18 months prior. Because of the 300k mileage the flush system had no chance to deal with such a build up. CDS did a thourough job digging out the mess and providing me with updated photos as they went.
