I saw Dr. Karen Cox for her acupuncture and integrative medicine service. We had a detailed intake for my first visit. My top issues were tendonitis and hot flashes. I am amazed at how many things can be alleviated with tiny needles. Last night, I had bad hot flashes, but it felt like purging. Now, I have lots of energy and feel focused and clear-minded. Found Dr. Cox through my Medicare Advantage plan, after I learned my insurance covered acupuncture. Karen was excellent in listening to the various problems I had been experiencing... chronic low back pain, sinus headaches behind my left eye, and various muscle issues, and she then explained what she would be doing, as I had never been to an acupuncturist and was a bit apprehensive.
