Our experience at Caiguna Roadhouse was disappointing. The nightly rate of $45 for a powered site felt excessive, particularly given the limited facilities, including only one functioning shower for ladies. No water to hook up to. Seems staying in this part of the Nullarbor, can command ridiculous prices. The amenities, including toilets and showers, were not maintained to an acceptable standard of cleanliness. Stayed at Caiguna Roadhouse during our Nullarbor journey and it was a great stopover. The place is simple but very practical for travellers crossing this long stretch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference when you’re on a long drive. Fuel, food, and basic essentials are available, and everything was convenient.
