Today I went to my regular vet of 7 years (Cahill in Flat Rock) with my dogs for my 4pm appointment that was scheduled 2 weeks ago. At 4:20, after watching several people who arrived after me get called back, I went to the front desk to ask where I was in line. She told me there were appointments ahead of me and they were running over an hour behind. I said no problem, I'll reschedule. This place is horrible. They overcharge for things they don't do. And do things that you don't ask them to do. We switched vets for our animals but kept for the birds. Now they are claiming birds need an exam when it was never even asked for. Vets should actually care for the animals if they are going to work with them.
I took my fancy tail dove for beak and nail trim and they charged $73 because they said it was the law for a exam. Googled it no such law for a dove and he was in there not even 15 minutes. Cancelled first appointment so the bird would not be stressed and made it for 9 then took over 15 minutes to get him in. They DO NOT care about the animals it is just the money.
RecommendedDr.Shoup was AMAZING with my dog who usually doesn’t do well at the vet! He made Ghost feel comfortable and safe. We’re so happy to find someone who isn’t apprehensive around our big boy!
Expert Care and genuine concern for your pets well being
Absolutely the best experience I’ve had well residing in the USA. My previous veterinarian had been my vet while Living in Canada since I was 14 years old. When my nine-year-old cat started showing the signs of diabetes I brought her there, and they were super efficient and professional and thorough. Great bedside manner. I’ve been back twice subsequently for follow up blood work and I would recommend them to anyone who needs care for their pets

There is a group of caring people there. They know your pet is part of the family and they know what you want and need from them. I have missed seeing Dr. B but have been unable to leave the house, I will be making an appointment for Caesar asap.
I honestly don’t know where to start. This was without a doubt one of the worst experience I’ve ever had. It started off that your receptionist forgot about me because they were too busy to answer the phone. Once I got into the exam room you called my cat Izzy then insisted it was a mistake and they had her confused with one of my other cats. My cats name is Daisy May. I never had a cat named Izzy.
