RUDE Owner – I have been to Ogunquit many times over the years and I want to warn readers of this site to stay clear of Cafe Prego. I ate at this restuarant twice last week, but my second experience was shocking. The owner is out of control and uses the police and his position in the town to threaten and bully. After over 90 minutes of waiting for our food he said that it was our fault that we had been rude to the waiter. Best place in Ogunquit in a very long time!! – After driving two hours from Boston, we arrived for dinner on Memorial day weekend with 4 children and found this place to be outstanding both in food quality and service. We were two couples dining out with 4 children and despite how busy the Caffe was on this particular Saturday, we asked the owner if it was possible if our children could have pasta even though it was not on the menu.
