Worst bar ever the Mexican girl thinks she is someone important and she denies drinks to ppl because we had cash. The food was average, about what you’d expect from a beachside bar. The view and ambience were nice. However, this 1-star review is due to the restaurant refusing to provide any free water option. We were told they do not serve tap water, and the only way to get water with our meal was to purchase bottled water. To my understanding, this goes against Chicago city code, which requires establishments serving food to provide free drinking water (Chicago Plumbing Zoning Code 18‑29‑410.4 and Chicago Building Code 4‑156‑460). The location is absolutely beautiful right in front of the lake, with stunning views that make the experience special. The food was really good, and the cocktails were great too. Unfortunately, the service could have been better. The staff was not very friendly and seemed rushed or distracted. Still, I would recommend it if you want a nice view and a good meal. Just don’t expect the warmest service. Hopefully, they improve on that because the place has great potential!
