AWESOME! I could totally eat at this place every day. The grilled chicken caesar sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Must be the lime in the dressing. The calamari is excellent and the owner is one of the nicest guys. Total date place in the evening. Good prices too!! Wonderful atmosphere in downtown Bryan.
Keeps improving – Cafe Capri keeps improving. When it first opened there were only a few dependable dishes. Now, almost all are very good and new ones (when they show up) are usually top-notch. I wish it would try something a little more adventurous and pay more attention to seafood.... although that's hard to do in this community. A definite plus that it's NOT a chain. The crowds on Friday and Saturday night are testament that something is working!
Best in Town! – This is the best Italian food place in town. This is the perfect place to take a date. The ambiance is classy and beautifully decorated. The food is excellent. It is a bit pricey though.
The Olive Garden it ain't! (thank god!) – For the locals willing to try something other than the pathetic Olive Garden or Carino's chain Italian food, Caffe Capri is a great place to start. It's very affordable and 100 times better than the repackaged pasta dishes offered. Try the lobster ravioli!
