Awesome food and the owner is a complete delight. I had Turkish eggs. Such a fresh and delectable dish. I tried Moroccan coffee akin to Turkish coffee. Crepes are excellent. The special French toast with peaches and lots of fattening garnishes was over the top. If I lived in Ann Arbor I would be a regular. I wanted to try one of everything!
Zolas been a favorite of ours for years. Always great food and relaxing environment. Amivi was our waitress who was super happy and friendly
The food was quite good. Too bad the manager doesn’t understand how customer service works. Our waitress, a very pleasant young woman accidentally spilled hot sauce all over my brand new linen shirt. It was an honest mistake. The issue was the manager, who gave me a hard time when I suggested that perhaps they could comp my breakfast considering my $130 shirt was ruined. Looking for a good breakfast in A2, we ventured into Zola. Menu was very inviting to try something different, so we did. I have the crab cake benedict, my wife the deluxe omelette, and our son the poached egg on toast. They were tasty and almost presented nicely except for the egg falling apart on my english muffin. We shared bites of each others choices. My son took a bite of his and came away with a piece of clear plastic wrap or something.
