Went for Mother’s Day. Food was great, with good options from our 5 year old to my 70+ mother. Cocktails are done very well. It’s not cheap, but everyone will leave satisfied!
service is wonderful, steak if flawless and I don’t understand the rating is below 4, from my point of view, it worths all five stars
It was my first time visiting Ann Arbor, and I found this restaurant and absolutely loved the food. The place is very pleasant, and the staff are all so nice and welcoming. I went twice for lunch and once for dinner. My favorite dishes were the Turkish eggs and the lamb chops à la Turque—both were amazing. I always travel with my dog, and they have a pet-friendly space, which I really appreciated. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Ann Arbor.
I had high expectations for Cafe Zola, but it was pretty disappointing. First, the flow/layout is terrible - you're dodging wait staff and customers at every turn. The tables are tightly packed. Second, service was "meh." We had to ask for water after no server approached us for at least ten minutes. Other tables around us were complaining.
