Very disappointing experience at Cafe Zinc. I explained to our waitress, Meagan, THREE times that for religious reasons, my family and I do not eat pork. I even changed my pasta order because the Bolognese contained pork. When our calamari arrived, I noticed shredded pork in it.I asked Meagan twice if it was pork—first she said no, then looked again and said, “Yeah, okay, it’s pork.” Thank God I noticed before eating it. Easily my favorite breakfast spot! Great options any time of day. We love the fresh baguettes, and sweet treats. It’s a hidden gem that you can get any of their small desserts made full size for a very reasonable price!
