Cafe Viola is an absolute gem on the South Shore! Tucked away on Tremont Street in Duxbury, this place has quickly become my go-to spot. The tiramisu is out of this world (do yourself a favor and pre-order a tray for your next party), and the cannoli are perfection. Now that they’re serving wine and beer, it’s even easier to linger. Fantastic authentically Italian sandwiches with well curated ingredients, great coffee, pastries and service as well. House made sauces and focaccia put it all over the top in quality
Legitimately delicious food, and I’m not a sandwich person generally. We split the portabella, prosciutto, and grilled cheese sandwiches and each was separately delicious. The salad on the side was fresh and balanced; I used the dressing with the portabella sandwich’s the croissant was stuffed/overflowing with the pistachio filling, dangerously good.
