My friend took us here last night and it was such a pleasant surprise. It's a quaint little family owned restaurant. The service was excellent, the chef came out to welcome us and make dish recommendations. The food was amazing, fresh, fragrant, delicious. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognase, the seafood special with sea scallops, shrimp, mussels, in a lobster sauce with capers and kalamata olives. We also ordered a delicious salmon dish. Unfortunately it is not quality food was I was expecting and the service was terrible.I do understand the restaurant is new and start the beginning but at least you have to provide the best food you can do . Chef to not do entering orders on computer serving the food and cooking in the same time using low quality ingredients. Only the filet mignon he buys it's good but salad dressings terrible, the soups are terrible the bread is terrible. We had a wonderful dining experience at Cafe Tatti. The food was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate—it truly felt like being in Europe. We ordered the oysters and escargot, followed by the duck and the special seafood risotto, cream caramel, chocolate mousse and everything was outstanding. The service was excellent; our waiter was attentive and very friendly. They also have a great selection of French wines. We highly recommend Cafe Tatti.
We had the best service!! They had the best carrot cake, I’ve ever had!!! Giovanni the chef is amazing and very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!!! My daughters loved it and they have beautiful outdoor seating.
Had a wonderful lunch at Café Tatti in McLean today with my husband. We ordered from the prix fixe menu, which offered a great variety of options. Between the two of us, we tried the French onion soup, Caesar salad, chicken in Marsala sauce, and the cavatelli pesto pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious.
