We opened our doors with a simple goal in mind: to give Atlanta real vegan options that are genuinely delicious. That's why, over the years, we've become known as a place where one and all (not just those with plant-based diets) can find something to love on our menu. We've got every taste on the list, from enchiladas to lasagna to spicy pad Thai. We invite you to visit us and find your new favorite!

Food OK but disappointing experience – We've been to the Cafe Sunflower many times and have enjoyed our meals. Our service was helpful and prompt, and in general, the food was delicious. We had taken a guest from out of town with us, and they also loved the food. The only downside to the whole experience cannot be discussed in detail since it violates the Review Guidelines. Let's just say that on more than one occasion, the food was a little too organic. Recognizing that things happen even in the finest of establishments, we... read more
Healthy and Tasty – It is difficult to find healthy restaurants when you are trying to lose weight, but Sunflower Cafe is a rare exception. The food is mostly vegetarian and healthy, but tastes great. I love the veggie pita with sunflower seeds. I have been on a strict weight loss program that uses shakes and meal replacements, but also allows me to eat fruits and vegetables, so this restaurant has become one of my favorites in the city. You can't go wrong, even if you aren't trying to lose weight.
great food, friendly staff – Since I'm vegan, I do most of my own cooking, and have a circuit of vegetarian restaurants my fiance and I go to when we feel like eating out. It's quite possible to muddle through at a conventional restaurant, particularly since Asian restaurants tend to have a reasonable assortment of tofu dishes, but interrogating staff about ingredients gets tiresome. Egg and milk solids lurk in unlikely places. Both locations of Cafe Sunflower are on my list of vegan-friendly restaurants, and this past weeke... read more
Delicious! – My husband and I decided to try Cafe Sunflower after hearing good reviews. I should mention that neither of us are currently vegetarian but we do eat healthy. The food was delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to both vegetarians and meat eaters. The food was fresh, tasty and best of all healthy!
Even meat eaters will be blown away – Forget the fact that Cafe Sunflower is vegetarian. This place serves some of the best food in Atlanta period. I was actually introduced to Cafe Sunflower by a hamburger slamming red-blooded American who claims to hate "all that vegetarian stuff". But he makes an exception for this place and I could tell why. 4 to 5 star cuisine in terms of the quality, creativity and presentation. They serve lots of dishes that will definitely appeal to meat eaters and vegetarians alike. A lot of places ... read more
the best vegan restaurant in atl – i have been vegan my whole life and i have eaten at many vegan restaurants. cafe sunflower is by far the best restaurant i have ever eaten at (vegan or not.) ABSOULUTELY DELICIOUS! I recommend this restaurant to everyone! awesome food and awesome service! i would make a reservation if you are going on the weekend or a holiday! two thumbs up!
Yum Yum in my Tum Tum – A nice change from the burgers and fries or pasta route. Now if you're hankering for a slab o'meat, this is not the place but its a good healthy meal. I eat here regularly and have seldom found it less than a fabulous environment, value, and meal.
If you're not a vegetarian... – you should keep driving. The food was luke warm, bland and not worth the cash. The chili, which I consider the prototypical vegetarian dish for meat eaters, was very dry and nothing more than several varieties of barely cooked beans in a dish. I'm surprised how well rated this place is. Maybe for a lack of similar establishments? I don't know.
Cafe Sunflower has a 4.5 star rating with 562 reviews.
