The "ricotta cheese cake" is made by the owner's mother and is GREAT. Just don't expect it to be a dense cream-cheese-based "cheesecake." It's more like a "cake"!
Wouldn't recommend for events. Ownership more concerned with dinner customers.
THIS PLACE *USED TO BE* GOOD; THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. MY GIRLFRIEND RECEIVED 3 DIFFERENT WATERED DOWN BEVERAGES (TWO TEAS AND ONE SODA) IN A ROW DESPITE LETTING THE WAITRESS KNOW. IT TOOK 15 MINUTES TO GET DRINK ORDER FILLED, WE DIDNT RECEIVE ANY BREAD TILL THE FOOD *FINALLY* ARRIVED AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES (FOR LASAGNA, SERIOUSLY). Food is really good
Awesome Cuisine at Very Affordable Prices – Italian food is definitely a family favorite for us. We have been to many, many Italian eateries in Greensboro but NONE compares to the quality you get at Cafe Pasta for very reasonable prices. Just because this restaurant is on State Street does not mean that it is expensive. We had a wonderful dinner tonight and felt very welcomed by the owner, Ray. You just don't get that personal touch at every restaurant in town. Thanks, Cafe Pasta!!
