THIS PLACE *USED TO BE* GOOD; THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. MY GIRLFRIEND RECEIVED 3 DIFFERENT WATERED DOWN BEVERAGES (TWO TEAS AND ONE SODA) IN A ROW DESPITE LETTING THE WAITRESS KNOW. IT TOOK 15 MINUTES TO GET DRINK ORDER FILLED, WE DIDNT RECEIVE ANY BREAD TILL THE FOOD *FINALLY* ARRIVED AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES (FOR LASAGNA, SERIOUSLY). Awesome Cuisine at Very Affordable Prices – Italian food is definitely a family favorite for us. We have been to many, many Italian eateries in Greensboro but NONE compares to the quality you get at Cafe Pasta for very reasonable prices. Just because this restaurant is on State Street does not mean that it is expensive. We had a wonderful dinner tonight and felt very welcomed by the owner, Ray. You just don't get that personal touch at every restaurant in town. Thanks, Cafe Pasta!!
Mom's World Famous Ricotta Cheesecake from Cafe Pasta is #1! – I love my mom's cheesecake, but the Mom's World Famous Ricotta Cheesecake by Cafe Pasta is probably the best I've had. Not too sweet or dense, and the flavor lingers... like a good cheesecake should! I tell everyone, if a place has good desserts, its worth a try. I tried Cafe Pasta, and their mouth-watering desserts... and I've tried them over and over again. YUM!
Fettuccine Primavera ... DEVINE! – Cafe Pasta is a place I just love taking friends to. Its warm and inviting atmosphere and welcoming staff is just a part of the reason why I love coming here so much. My girlfriend and I are frequent patrons, and I have even taken my folks here a few times. Its just a lovely place to be, and the best part is the wonderful food.
Attractive dining room, poor service, so-so food, small port – The best thing we can say about Cafe Pasta is that it is attractive. We went to take advantage of the daily lunch special we heard about on Digtriad that advertised a pasta dish and salad. Upon arrival, we were not informed of any lunch specials, so we asked. The waitress brought separate menus for the advertised specials. There was only 2 other people there but we waited and waited for our food, and so did the other couple. Greensboro catering at its finest ! – Cafe Pasta has been cooking up great food for over 25 years and their catering service is the best greensboro catering experience. They work within your budget so cost is not an issue and they cook way more than pasta. Their dining rooms are free to hold your event so they end up being much cheaper than many other choices, too.
BEST Italian in Piedmont Triad! – Cafe Pasta is one awesome restaurant. The Italian dishes are sublime, and the seafood and steaks are wonderful too! My husband loves the Bouillabaisse and the grilled salmon, and I'm crazy for the lasagna and tortellini Alfredo. The desserts are killer, and they have a full bar.
