The food was mediocre at best. Sushi could definitely use some improvement. The reason for the 3 star it's very pricey for the quality of food you get. Just one of them things lately you pay more and get less.
I normally do not eat Japanese food, but I love their fried rice and key lime pie. Everyone who has been with me (including some visitors from Japan) have always liked whatever they ordered. I knew a former server and he told me their quality control is amazing. He said she will not let anything in that kitchen that doesn't meet their standards.
Sushi, the BEST there is!
Update 07/05/26 This restaurant was as good today as it was when I first put this post up. The staff is extremely friendly, the interior is very nicely done and clean but the most impressive part about the experience is the quality and taste of the food.
