Caffe Nonna is a cozy tiny establishment, but never boring. A small bar and half a dozen tables are always packed. Traditional Italian appetizers and salads begin the meal. The calamari is very good. A full menu features sandwiches and gourmet pizzas that have wheat dough piled high with your choice of meat and vegetables. Mix and match different types of pasta with their specialty sauces like pesto cream, white clam or Arrabiata.

Simple Atmosphere, Impressive Food – This was my first visit, and I couldn't have been more pleased! Fabulous Dining Experience! – A friend recommended Cafe Nonna to us as a great "date night" restaurant. However, after reading a few of these reveiws I was a bit skeptical of our choice. Fortunately, our friend was right and we had a fabulous dining experience!!! Quaint, neighborhood spot - don't miss it Offering authentic, fresh Italian-inspired fare and at least two daily specials (typically one seafood and one meat), an extensive wine list (no liquor) and tasty desserts, you won't go wrong with a visit to this Sylvan Park charmer. The space is cozy, so reservations are recommended. Don't shy away from the patio -- it's well heated in winter -- and subject to the same welcoming service from the wonderful waitstaff.
Nothing remarkable compared to Nashville's other great choices – I really wanted to like Cafe Nonna. It's within walking distance and its atmosphere and surroundings are charming. Great Food, period! – My wife and I love this place. We eat here seven or eight times per year, and we always show it off when family or friends come into town. It's not inexpensive, but it is fairly reasonable. For two people ordering a bottle of wine, two entrees, and an appetizer, you can expect to spend 100 bucks. food was alright. too pricey!!! – 3 friends out to dinner. 2 glasses of house wine, 1 beer. 1 salad, 2 pasta dishes. 1 appetizer. almost $70.00. whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? portions are okay.. not gigantic. this place seriously charges waaaaaaaay too much for pasta and lettuce. it ain't rocket science. wish we had gone someplace else. oh, and this is not a private place either. be prepared to hear all about the lives of those sitting next to you.
Intimate Setting and Rustic Flavors – Caffe Nonna serves great Italian and Mediterranean flavors in an intimate, romantic setting. The flavors are deep, definitely a place for foodies. The setting is dim and a little tight, but its works perfectly for 2-4 people.
Tiny dining area with overrated food – My wife and I had dinner at Cafe Nona. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The first thing you notice is how small the dining area is...they could easily take out five tables and it would still feel cramped. avoid in general – a restaurant to avoid. hard to believe a restaurant with bad service & mediocre food can survive when good restaurants fail. our visit included being charged for items not received & even being asked to leave so that the unknowing could have our table. should be known as"cafe no no". what a shame that places like the cooker with a courteous staff & good food cannot survive & this place can.
