OK, so it's not in the most popular section of New Haven, on a corner off on its own. But despite appearances, this is an outstanding spot for hearing live bands and performers. During the week it showcases a diverse selection of music and talent, and on the weekends you can listen to well known bands or outstanding jazz and blues players jam.

One of Connecticut's best venues – This is a really great little bar at the intersection of Crown and State Streets in New Haven. It also features indie folk, alt country, and punk rock music. Lots of great bands often only 5-10 bucks. They have no cover nights, too.
We've been here twice – Both times we've eaten here, we've had a pleasant experience. Excellent food ! Worth the trip. We combined it with a visit to a few museums
