Nice little spot and good food
Had a fantastic experience at Cafe Metro in Teaneck. This is a great local spot for authentic Caribbean food with a real home-cooked feel. There’s a great variety on the menu, from oxtails, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and curry goat to shrimp and grits, fried fish, whole snapper, chicken and waffles, and plenty of traditional sides. I visited this location for the first time today. I ordered oxtail that was extremely salty and had a lot of grit. Rice and peas were different, no plantain, but the vegetables I did receive were good. The guy behind the counter was very nice. I won’t be going back
