Super fun. Relaxed open atmosphere perfect for date night! It is off the beaten path and that's a good thing. You can actually have a conversation here. The food is excellent, super fresh, and delicious. We normally don't eat desserts at restaurants, but here we went for the molten Lava Cake with Gelato and OMG. That was a highlight. Thank you Mercato, we will return soon...with friends!
While we were visiting from the East Coast a friend that lives in the area recommended this restaurant when we asked for a good Italian restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful.
We ordered calamari and Brussel sprouts for an appitizer and it took 25 minutes to get to our table. Brussels sprouts were ok, the Calamari was not tasty at all. Spaghetti with meat balls was fair and noodles were over cooked. My wife’s mushroom pizza was terrible. The service was slow and inattentive. It seemed like one waiter for the entire cafe. Not impressed and will not go back any time soon
Carlo was outstanding and food is absolutely amazing.
