My wife and I, not from Portsmouth, were looking at the menu outside the front entrance as a diner was entering and told us we wouldn’t be disappointed. Without reservations we were told the wait would be 20 to 30 minutes but seating at the bar was available. Are we glad we chose the bar seats. The excellent food would have been the same either way but we also had the opportunity to have Nick, the bartender, as our server. The best full rack of lamb in town. Scratch made papardelle. Best stop before a visit to the music hall. Plan ahead. Reservations fill early.
Mindy is an affable, excellent bartender, and always a pleasure to spend time with.
Fantastic service start with the hostess and continues from there. Some of the best drinks and food in town.
