Excellent flavor and customer service.
This is my first time here. We each ordered a different plate. My husband had the Nopales and egg, somebody had the Chilaquiles, I had a burrito with green chile rajas and beans, and somebody had the oatmeal and chorizo burrito. Service is a bit slow, but it's understood because it's a busy place, nonprofit, and there was a lot of people, this is a nice organization that supports local charities. Café Mayapán is the kind of place you go for culture, community, and real flavor. Not flashy, not boujee, and honestly that is the whole point. It is part café, part cultural hub, with art, programs, and a vibe that feels rooted and genuine. Super vegan and vegetarian friendly.
