The breakfast menu is standard with a twist; breads are excellent, coffee wonderful, wait staff enthusiastic and good at their jobs. I have been a fan since first opening and continue to be a fan but sometimes the food is lukewarmish and the overall ambience can be loud and dark. I would like to be able to substitute something else for potatoes on the breakfast menu.
Great Atmosphere Cafe Lucky Noodle is one of my favorite restaurants in the Eugene area. It is a bit pricey, but the amount of food you get is enough for 2 people. The kids menu is also a bit pricey, but not as much food for the money, we tend to only go here when the kids aren't with us. The atmosphere is great too! The dim lights make for a romantic setting at any time of day. The drink menu is full of great choices, but the Key Lime Martini is amazing. Haven't found a better one in town. Overall, Cafe Lucky Noodle is one ... read more
All about the drinks! Okay, so honestly, the food is just okay. Same quality food at a better price down the street at a competitor. It is also a very noisy place....It is worth the go, however, because of the SPICY MARGARITA! This drink is my new favorite. It is a margarita made with pineapple that is marinated with jalapeno peppers. Not a hot drink, it just finishes with a zip! I love Love Love it!
Not very good. – Lucky Noodle was a big disappointment to me. It was incredibly loud, service was only fair, and the food was cold and poorly prepared. If you want noodles, go to Mekalas.
Overrate Eugene Fusion Food – Lucky Noodle has an incredibly attractive wait staff and very refreshing gelato. Otherwise, despite its popularity, Lucky Noodle can be disappointing. Neither its asian nor its Italian food is as good as promised and its prices are are higher than they should be.
Very interesting array of menu choices The Thai choices are excellent; what makes this restaurant unique is the array of non-Thai choices on the menu as well
Very interesting array of menu choices The Thai choices are excellent; what makes this restaurant unique is the array of non-Thai choices on the menu as well Prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is in a very nice setting near the 5th Street Market.
Too many noodles When I was showing guests around town, we went to this place since it was conveniently located near the 5th St Public Market. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was pleasant but the menu was mostly based around noodle dishes. I guess that explains the name. But I would have liked more choices. The service was a bit slow and the drink order came out wrong.
