The shrimp and grits were the best! They were a warm treat on a cold day.
This was our restaurant of choice for a December weekend meet up with family for "lupper". We knew nothing about the food scene in Laurel but several local shop owners or staff were high on Cafe Le Fleur. The food theme leans toward Cajun but there are less spicy selections, as my wife can attest. The Chicken Bayou was perfectly Cajun, however, and I enjoyed every bite. We found this place by accident. We were looking for a new place to eat. I found them online. The food qes awsum, the service was very good, the prices were pretty good, not too pricey. We will be returning. We highly recommend them. It's like you walked into New Orleans restaurant, but stepped back out into Laurel, MS, when you leave. ☺️
