This place deserves ZERO stars. Unfortunately, my experience at Cafe Italia was overshadowed by the behavior of the owner, Daniel. I found him to be extraordinarily rude, arrogant, discourteous, and insulting—easily one of the most unpleasant interactions I have ever had with a restaurant owner. First time here Calzone was very tasty. Grilled veggies highly recommended.
The caprese salad was the best part of the meal. The tomatoes are grown by the owner. They also make their fresh mozzarella. I considered wearing a tracksuit to feel Italian, but I didn’t think it would be par the course. Yummy.
