The food was EXCEPTIONAL and the entertainment was absolutely TERRIFIC! The singing servers are unique and we had a very enjoyable evening for our 45th wedding anniversary. We will DEFINITELY go back and bring friends. Bellisimo!!!
I am so surprised to bad reviews here. My experience has been wonderful. Really good food the lamb the other night was fantastic! the singing is wonderful. Where else can you hear opera and show tunes in an Italian setting with good food? We come every year and visit 2 in a week.
Disappointment – We love good Italian food. Cafe Italia looked like a well kept local secret. Intimate outdoor seating on a warm desert evening beckoned us to the rather secluded restaurant. My husband chose a steak which the waitress described as a chef special for that evening. I chose one of two Gnocchi dinners on the menu. Both choices were flavorless disappointments. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT – Oh my gosh. This place should stick to bread and soup. The pasta dishes were so bad. I mean bad. The alfredo sauce was like milk. Poor taste too boot. Sent it back; asked for Bolognese. No better as the meat was old; tainted taste at best. Avoid at all costs. Too expensive speaking of cost. Go to Marios in Indio.
