First time in Mount Dora. Did a little research to find a good restaurant and Gianni‘s came up with excellent reviews. Chef not only greets customers, but helps with serving the food and busing tables. That’s the sign of someone who truly carries about his restaurant. We loved the food and would highly recommend.
Excellent food! Your tastebuds will dance with excitement at the flavors that chef brings to your table! Very attentive staff. Chef Gianni is very welcoming. Almost as if you are dining in his home! Make sure to make reservations.

No better Italian food outside of Italy! From red sauce to wine sauce, it's all perfection! All restaurants should strive to have service as professional and knowledgeable as Gianni's!
Saw some good reviews so wife and I decided to give Gianni's a try during a brief stay in Mt. Dora. We called first and spoke to the owner/chef Johnny. Very cozy, bright and simple decor. We chose to sit inside due to the heat and weather. Outstanding menu and wine list. Server Joseph was a true gentleman and took great care of us.
