Had a lovely Birthday dinner at Gabbianos last evening. We tried the Sarasota 3 course dinner menu, and it exceeded our expectations. We had an excellent bottle of The Prisoner wine to complement the meal. Our server Rafael was very attentive and Professional. The birthday dessert was an added bonus!! Will definitely be back on our next trip.
Celebrated my birthday for third year in a row at Cafe Gabbianos with a large group. Everything was exceptional. I'm super picky about my Italian food, being Italian and having lived in Italy and Cafe Gabbianos hits the spot every time. There were eight of us and the sever was on top of everything and made us feel special and timed food perfectly. I got there early and they seated me right away. Awesome, authentic Italian food in the heart of Siesta Key. Fine dining, great service, creative culinary delights. My Italian mother-in-law said it was the best limoncello she's had since being in Italy. I had the veal special. It had mushrooms all over it. It was amazing. Pastas are all served Al dente, very authentic.

Amazing. Walked in the door and greeted with a smile. We had a beautiful private table. Very good menu. Steak cooked perfectly.
