The food is good , the service is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful...the only problem is the owner. Matt, the proprietor of this seemingly fine establishment is rude, and ignorant. He accused my boyfriend of having a fake \$100 dollar bill in a less than professional manner. He walked out from the back and tossed the bill in front of him, proceeding to call the police. Having now eathen there four times I can honestly say the food was fantastic - even the salad with grilled chicken breast. My friend from Central Illinois made the comment that he hopes they never lose the chef as the food is tremendous and unique in some instances.Others sitting at the surrounding tables were commenting amoung themselves that it was the type of restaurant you would never go to, because you had never heard of it, but once you do, you come back. I completely agree.
Cafe Fresco has fantastic food in a comfortable environment. My favorites are Rigatoni and Artichoke Ravioli. Enjoy!
