Good Food But I think it changed into an italian restaurant. The entire name changed. Whatever is there now is excellent. Pricey but very nice. Gourmet Italian dining. I dont remember what its called.
Dining Tragedy @ Cafe Firenze The chicken Marsala, the chicken was cooked separately from the sauce and didn't have Marsala wine. The risotto was served undercooked, returned to the kitchen and came back edible. The shift changed left us without a server until we brought it to their attention. I hope you will not suffer the same dining tragedy
Good food but... I have eaten here a handful of times and the food is actually very good. A little pricey for the portion size but still good. The only complaint that I have is that whenever I have called for takeout with the exception of one time - they never answer their phone (no matter which option number I have chosen). This is very frustrating. And I have called at times when they have not been busy. They really need to have someone taking calls.
A hidden gem – Cafe Firenze is like stepping into a different world. You would never expect this type of restaurant is at the end of a strip mall in Moorpark. You walk in and are transported to old world Italy with romantic lighting and a lively bar scene. I always order the Key Lime Pie Martini - the best I've had anywhere. Service slow and indifferent – Took my wife here on Saturday, 30 Jan 2010 for dinner at 7.30. Seated at a 2 top in wine bar room. 5 minutes after being seated we were asked by the runner if we wanted bottled water, I declined and we were served regular tap water. We looked through the nice and extensive menu, finished, laid them down and now we sat. I kept looking around going, "what no bread?"
