This French-market coffee stand, established in 1862, offers a menu of dark coffee with chicory, beignets, white or chocolate milk and freshly-squeezed orange juice. Cafe Du Monde is one of the most popular and the oldest of its kind in New Orleans. You may have to wait for a table in the busy morning hours owing to its famous breakfast menu. The best way to prevent a hangover...

Prepare to wait service is slooooow...
The frozen coffee is soooo good. I do not like coffee at all, but I loved this drink. Highly recommended!
Excellent – The Beignets are worth going down to the French Quarter. The atmosphere is not the greatest, but if you have ever lived in NOLA like I have it is not a bother. This is an outdoor restaurant and street people can be a hassle. Still, despite the downsides, it is a great experience.
Do not leave this city without eating a beignet!
