It is a small white-cloth old school italian restaurant located in what is essentially a strip mall. Atmosphere is cosy. It was half-full when I was there, and the noise levels were fine. Food is standard Italian fare that you would expect to find. They give you free bread with olive oil, along with parmesan cheese, olives, salami, and peppers. Enter through the back, up a flight of stairs to the check-in area, the food coming out of the kitchen. People coming and going and the holding area , not pleasant. The food for some was good, loved the stuffed zucchini flowers ,?nice variety of breads in the basket. I did not like my Dover sole, over cooked and a small piece for $40. Service was just okay, the noise level was so loud! What’s wrong with people, they don’t talk they yell. Will not return.
We came for my birthday and the food was outstanding. The professor was exceptional serving us and every dish we had was better than the rest. Veal was so tender and all the pasta dishes were delicious. Highly recommend coming here .
I tried the pasta carbonara and it was creamy and comforting, and the place felt cozy and relaxed with a simple, welcoming atmosphere.
