The food was excellent. The service was great for a totally packed banquet hall.. My only complaint would be that the eggs Benedict were a little cold. Although they do add a gratuity, they are at least are honest enough to tell you when the check comes. We will definitely come again.
I too attended a wedding at Banchetti's in Amherst and was so disgusted with the place I had to leave. The food was horrible (cold & dry), the venue was dirty, linens were stained, glasses spotty, silverware was'nt not fit for a dog to eat with, not to mention the service was slow. Anyone who has their wedding here, shows how cheap you really are! If your trying to impress your guests, not the place to do it! Unless you like to look like your cheap then this is the perfect place for your event!
We were here for Mother's Day Brunch and we won't be back. I highly suggest finding a different venue to eat at. First, we had reservations for 12pm and they never seated us until 1pm. We had 22 people including 2 babies and 1 person over 80 that was forced to wait in a cramped hallway. Staff was not very considerate of their screw-up. When we finally ate, we had to wait for our drinks and many of us didn't get drinks for almost 20 more minutes.
