Ok, this place is definitely a hidden jem. Nevermind that it's a humble hole in the wall disguised with a great number of plants up against the window. There's a cute Portuguese grandpa barista who served up a nice latte with a creme caramel for the least I've ever seen in this town. Gave a whopping tip! Please go and support places like this, I fear this will disappear when Safeway is upgraded and gentrified.
I had the pleasure of spending a very pleasant afternoon chatting with Mrs. Ivone and her friends. I had coffee with a Pastel de Nata, and bought some Portuguese products to take home. Places like this are rare in Vancouver.
