We were looking for a place on Wednesday night. We found this place. We loved that it was owned by the chef. 🌟🤗👍 My wife had heard of it. We really enjoy sitting at bars in restaurants. A kind of hobby of ours, all over the world. We had a lovely pair of cocktails then a lovely light linguine with clams and a salad. we had their brilliant artichokes. Ryan, the bartender was charming and attentive. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Worth every penny. It was an anniversary dinner, our 33rd. Thanks.
Very good appetizers, mediocre main courses
Had a fantastic evening at Cafe Adam. The food and drinks were outstanding, and a shout out to our server, Aaron, and the bartender, Ryan. If you’re visiting Great Barrington, Cafe Adam is a must. Can’t wait to return on our next visit!
The food is delicious; the service is attentive; the atmosphere? well, it depends. I visited Cafe Adam on a beautiful summer night and the indoor seemed too dark (probably very cozy on a winter night). We chose a table outside but it feels a bit like being in the parking lot. Wow, this place used to be great. Went last night. Very disappointed. Expensive and fair at best. Artichoke app was mushy and presented sloppy. Linguine with clams sauce was tasteless even after asking for salt. It was very watery. Time between apps and mains was over a half hour. Was the a change in chefs??
