Very active today.
Great place to eat on the Square in Arcata. Quite busy on a market Saturday, but the staff was friendly and very efficient. I had eggs on potato pie. Hit the spot. Great potato flavor, properly crispy. My partner had salmon Benedict and loved it. Prices are Arcata typical. We'll go back.
Very concerning, We got the pot of chocolate crème to go and found a shard of metal in it. Not certain how that would happen… Heads up to You bacon lovers, the $6 bacon is just two tiny pieces. We laughed so hard cause it felt like joke. Was thinking maybe it’s a special local bacon turns out it’s not. Understandably, it’s expected that a restaurant would mark up food, but this is 10-15x markup on the raw cost. The grits were good and served in an abstract way
