Beautiful parks, great playgrounds, water views. Yes! Some trails are a little more advanced than casual walking with kids but a lot of fun for the adults! Awesome spillway for fossil collection!

Went here to get free passes for the spillway to find fossils. We found so really good ones. The place is clean, cool and held lots of good information. It has a scenic overview of some of the lake. Very pretty in August with all the leaves on the trees and the sun glistening off the water. Open til 4pm. Associate know their stuff. They led us right to the spillway and also Pioneer Village and the Nature Center. Lots of found fossils with a huge full trilobite fossils found at the spillway.
