His employees did work for my 100-year-old father to a total of $9,838.36 during 2013. In the fall they had installed cable roof-warmers to prevent ice dams, which failed on half of the roof in March of 2014, The owner, Jim Carpenter, assured us that since the cables were under warranty and they guarantee their work, he would repair it.
After that, he never returned phone calls or answered e-mails, until in desperation I asked my brother-in-law to call him in September - pretending he was a new customer who wanted work done. Jim promised him that he would contact me right away and get the repair done before the warranty expired in October.
Never heard back from him again, despite more attempts on my part.
If he would at least told us he had no intention of doing the repair, I could have had someone else do it before the warranty expired. He is a liar and a con-man and he preys on the elderly.
