Have been having issues with my adaptive cruise since I bought my preowned Cadillac. After numerous attempts, my dealer in Florida couldn’t figure it out. I decided to bring it to Cadillac of Marion since I was in the area for a month and they found the issue. It took thinking outside the box to realize the issue was caused by a modification by the previous owner. Kudos to Steve (service writer) and Andrew (technician)!!!
We came off the highway to their Cadillac dealership with an engine light on. At 12:23pm. They took the car in, analyzed the problem, got the parts 6 hrs of labor , had to drop the transmission, and got back on the road the following day by 12;00 noon. We had an absolutely horrible experience! I had my payoff quote when we arrived, along with the KBB value of my car I was wanting to trade. We were looking at a Cadillac XT4. When the salesman came back with their offer, they had the Cadillac over 2,000 higher than it was advertised online. I asked about this, so he took the paperwork back and came back with the car at the advertised price. They offered me almost 4,000 less than the KBB value of my car!!
