Terrible service from the tellers and assistant manager. I was in a month prior to cash a check from my employer who banks with Cadence. Larger check, they made some calls, and cashed the check no problem. Fast foward to today, assistant manager Megan takes my check and proceeds to call similar to last time. Nothing new... then comes back to tell me she can not cash it, reasoning you ask, signature. Btw, same signature from the larger check the month before. I’ve been with Cadence Bank since they took over all of the Bancorp South locations in the area. And I was with Bancorp South since they took over all of the First State Bank locations before that. So I have been quite loyal and a lot of that was because of the great and personal customer service I’ve always received. Been a customer for several months and this branch has been wonderful! Maranda and the other women that are regularly there are always friendly and accommodating. Maranda is a great asset and a major reason why I’ll continue to bank here during my time in Georgetown.
