Supposedly a fraudulent wire was sent to my account. I didn’t even know one was supposedly coming until like 2 am which I agree is suspicious. But I was accused of being a liar right to my face saying that I told the bank teller that I had 80 k coming in. Really? I didn’t even get a notification on my phone until 2 am so how is it possible for me to say anything when they’re closed and everyone is asleep? So far no problem
Navy Federal Credit Union would not deposit the check from Cadence due to the way the numbers were printed. They advised me to take it directly to Cadence Bank, the issuing bank. Unfortunately, Cadence charged a $5 fee just to cash their own check. The entire experience felt more like dealing with a check-cashing place than a bank. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Makes me wonder if this is a subprime bank. 🤔
