Had the Fenie ravioli with shrimp. I wish it had rich in the description. It was very good but wished my partner and I had split that dish.
This is our favorite restaurant in Nanaimo. Sure, there are a few smaller, local places that have great food, but we love the atmosphere, food and service here. This restaurant does not seem like a chain location. The service is always friendly and efficient. Happy hour has a wonderful menu and dinner service has great selection. The tuna poke bowl is terrific and if you don't mind the calories, split the layered chocolate cake for dessert. We are in Nanaimo visiting from Alberta & had to stop at Cactus for our family dinner before returning home. We were a party of 8 & reserved on the newly updated patio. What an incredibly beautiful space! Our server was Jess, she was such a joy, incredibly attentive & SO kind to everyone including our two young daughters.
