Such an amazing state park!!!! Ready to go back and explore more!!!
The sand and water is lovely here. We enjoy the trees that provide shaded areas for when it gets to hot. The diving area is fun. The kids like to see the little fish swim as they swim. The bathhouse get a little dirty form time to time. The snack bar food is pricey. The view and enjoyment are great. If decide to visit the beach and walking is difficult, then would suggest parking by the playground and/or ccc shelter (also, there is limited handicap parking by the snack bar, crossing over a tiny bridge by the playground area)... read more
It seems like a nice place, but you need to bring CASH, to enter or purchase anything. They don't take any electronic payments.
First time here. Kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. Will be back soon. Wish it was more clearly know it's cash only to get in. Luckily you can drive to the lodge to pay.
