We came down to celebrate our 14 yr old twins Birthday with 3 of their friends and stayed at BEAR PINES. The driveway twists in through Gorgeous mature trees and.... the Clearing... UGGH!! the Oohs and Aahhs from my back seat were confirmation that we made the right choice! The cabin is SPECTACULAR!!! Inside, there is not a single speck of dust in even a single corner, Inside OR out. IT'S IMMACULATE!!! They thought of everything. I just finished my stay I stayed for two nights and it was absolutely amazing. We stayed at the bear pines cabin and the cabin, land, and just everything overall took my breath away. The throw blankets in each room were such a nice touch and being able to wake up and go and sit on the balcony with my coffee was so nice just listening and watching the wind blow through the trees while my audiobook was playing was exactly the kind of birthday trip I needed. This was a fantastic stay. We stayed at the Vanderbilt cabin. The best!! It was one of the cabins that was totally secluded on its own and it was gorgeous. All the rooms have their own private deck/balcony and there were so many bathrooms. The place was not buggy, everything was super clean, and it was a total blast. My wife and I were blessed to come up here for three nights to celebrate me being cancer free. The cabin and amenities were beautiful. Everything worked perfectly. It was clean smelled good and we had a very wonderful time. The cabin has a very clear cable TV plenty of games fire pit Jacuzzi sauna and all the amenities. A beautiful spacious front porch to sit on when the weather is nice. The staff that I talked with on the phone was very helpful and friendly. My family of 4 plus 1 dog just spent the most perfect long weekend at the Cardinal Ridge cottage. This was absolutely a vacation we will never forget and one we hope to replicate at other beautiful parks around the country. The house was the perfect size with all of the amenities that we needed.
