I'm going to say I usually don't do this but I feel the need to in this situation. We have ordered cabinets and counters for our house many times from Cabinets by Carters in Alexandria and recommended them. In fact, I recommended them to my Mom who ordered counters from them. She hasn't had new counters in 20+ years so this was an exciting thing for her! Unfortunately, they put in the wrong ones. Communication is lacking and frustrating at times. While I was happy with the end product, I was definitely disappointed in follow up issues. Once they had my money and cabinets were installed, it was impossible to get them back on the phone, much less back at my house. Shortly after my kitchen was done, I tried to get them to install bathroom cabinets but apparently it wasn't a big enough job to bother with. In the process of building our home we have gone to Carter a couple of times and will continue to do so in the future. Fair prices and quality work!
