Cabin Rentals of Helen does not refund monies put down on property. The agreement states "Over a minimum of 15 days (15) to arrival ( Deposit only is available). This leads the customer to believe they will receive a refund any time before 15 days pre arrival. This is a money scam. They do not refund anything. You get a credit that if you don't use, you lose.It's poor business practice and basically taking money from people.

Since she claims to be a business owner also, she should know that we have to protect our property owners who have invested money to have a short-term rental for her and others to enjoy. She has kept the cabin blocked for almost a month before deciding she didn't want come, preventing others from booking. This is not acceptable in the business world.

Highly unethical and dishonest management. They are swindlers who will do anything to get your money. I used their website to search for and book a dog-friendly cabin. Upon receiving the rental agreement, I saw that dogs were not allowed. Within 24 hours of booking, I contacted Rental Cabins of Helen to understand what options were available. We rented a cabin in Helen, Property ID XXXXXXX in July. The location was dirty and had ants in the kitchen upon arrival. The AC was broken. They knew this prior to our arrival and scheduled for a repair man to come the last morning that we were there. They never communicated this to us, and we were woken up by repairmen who came into the house without masks on.
