I could hear the owners ring doorbell going every 15 minutes in the next room. Most of the doors led into the part he lives in. The “party area “ was a concrete seat and wrapped up bbq grill. Our sheets had just been sprayed in something that kept me from being able to breathe with my asthma and we had no towels. I wish I could rate this location 10 stars, the owner was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Captain Room, and it was wonderful! I loved our view of the lake, and the decor made the room feel cozy and at home. I enjoyed a lovely muffin and some orange juice for breakfast, and I will definitely be staying here again!

The owner was amazing and very helpful for our last minute decision to book a room. The entire cabin is clean, well organized, and is nicely designed. The view of lake Helen is serene and the owner offered to take a picture of us by the lake. 10/10 will stay again

The Cabin on the Lake was everything we wanted. It is tranquil, the gardens are very nice around the cabin, it's close to family that live in the area, it's super clean and has a great homey feeling. The staff was fantastic! Hugo was attentive, great sense of humor, shared some history and served a good breakfast. We hope to return later this year! Thanks again Hugo :)

Too expensive for the room. The room and service offered was not worth the price. We stayed for three nights and were only offered breakfast for one day. On that day, we didn’t eat anything as milk was not available for cereal and butter for bagels. We rang the bell to get Ramon’s attention. We rang it several times and we got no response. We finally left and got breakfast elsewhere. From our experience this place should not be termed as a “bed and breakfast”, since no breakfast was provided during our entire stay.
