I really love this place and the restaurant. My guests love the boat rides on Cabbage Key. Cabbage Key is one of those special places in Southwest Florida that feels like stepping back in time. The island itself is beautiful—quiet, surrounded by water, and only accessible by boat, which makes the visit feel like a little adventure. The restaurant has an amazing old Florida charm. We enjoyed our visit to Cabbage Key quite a bit. There are nice short trails and the water tower gave an aerial view of the island and the sound. However, the burger is barely ok at best and not an inspiration for a song.
Its a great location in the middle of nowhere, and you are going to need a boat. Service is great but the prices are a bit steep. Overall, you'll have e a good time.
