Run away!!!!!! Rented their private cabana. Place was a dump, owners dogs were all over us, literally have 6 beach towels covered in mud from their dogs. Pictures taken 20 yrs ago on website and place has not been maintained. Portable restroom was unusable, we left before I had to pee after my husband looked inside. River toys dirty and unusable. Perfection.
Spent the day here yesterday. Discovered this spot through Groupon. I checked out the website and then reserved the spot. When we got there it looked a bit out dated from the video and photos I saw online. But we decided to stick it out. We ended up having a great day! The staff and owner were all so friendly and helpful. Just the whole atmosphere was a good vibe. We will definitely be back here. The water was cold and refreshing. Pet friendly always a plus. Alot of shaded areas too.
We had a good time! There was plenty of seating. Shaded areas all around. Kid friendly environment, they loved the swings, ropes and floating mats! We bbq’ed and used the Kayak’s which was super easy to operate and fun. We did have a lot of flies come out so have your citronella candles on deck! It’s Pet friendly, we had some furry little sweet hosts come say hello. We had a relaxing time at the San Marcos River, Take the family and go!!
